This policy describes how Movie Madders handles information while the product is in public beta. It is written to match how the product works today. It is not legal advice.

Who we are

Movie Madders is operated as a movie discovery service. For privacy questions, email hello@moviemadders.com.

Information we handle

• Account details you provide, such as email address, display name, and username.
• Movie activity you save: watchlist, favorites, collections, Radar tracking, and ratings or reviews you post.
• In-app notification records for events the product actually delivers in the app.
• Technical logs needed to run and secure the service (for example, request metadata).

What we do not do today

We do not currently send product email notifications or push notifications, even if older preference fields exist in the account system. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party sources

Movie metadata and where-to-watch listings may be sourced from partners such as catalogue providers and JustWatch. Those services have their own terms. Availability listings can go out of date.

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. See our Cookies page.

Your choices

You can update profile and in-app notification preferences in Settings. You can ask us to delete an account by emailing hello@moviemadders.com. We may retain limited records where we are required to, or where they are needed to secure the service.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of the beta after an update means the new policy applies to that use.
